We’ve recently got a call from our customer. It was said that the fridge was not freezing despite the fact it had been working before. Everything had thawed in the lower compartment (freezer). The upper part was cool but not cold. Lights and everything else worked as usually. How can it be that the fridge works partially? If your freezer is too warm to keep the food frozen, moist air may be leaking through the refrigerator or freezer door gaskets. Check all door gaskets for damage and replace any damaged door gaskets. Dirty condenser coils can cause cooling problems in the freezer. Unplug the refrigerator and check the condenser coils for dust and dirt buildup. Clean the condenser coils if they're dirty. Continue to clean the coils when you perform routine refrigerator maintenance. Surely, to be confident about the real cause of the trouble you may call a repairman who will conduct general diagnostics of all parts.
