When your Kenmore washer alerts you with an F11 error code too often, that might be a more serious issue than you reckon. F11 is an indication of a communication problem between the machine control board and the motor control board. Most likely the washer has vibrated enough to vibrate wires loose. You will need to remove the top of the washer and inspect the wiring harnesses that go to and from the control board. One of the wires will probably be loose therefore causing this error code. Make sure all wire connections are secure. You could try a proverbial hard reset by following the procedure below. To clear and restart the control follow the steps below. Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 10-20 minutes. Reconnect the unit to the power source by turning the breaker back on or plugging the washer back in. Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the display. Even if this guide helps to eliminate the issue and the code stops alerting, we recommend a thorough diagnostic of several parts. Check the wire connection at either the machine control board or motor control board, machine control board, motor control board, door lock and motor for a failure.
