If your Viking dmos200 doesn’t work, probably problem - main control board. Unfortunately this part isn’t repaired - it must be replaced. We have for you a simple instruction on how to replace it by yourself at home. For the process of replacement you need only Phillips head screwdriver. Let’s start.
To replace the main control board in your microwave oven first unplug the power cord. Now use a phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the screws securing the grill. Pull the grill forward from the top to remove. Open the oven door and remove the mounting screw securing the control panel. Lift the control panel up to detach.Note the orientation of the wires connected to the control board then depress the locking tabs, if necessary, to disconnect the wires. Free the hinge tab from the front panel and remove the screw and washer securing the grounding wire. Release the ribbon connecter. Unthread the mounting screws securing the control board.Remove the old board. Prepare the new main control board for installation by removing the protective covering from the display. Position the board in the control panel housing and thread the mounting screws to secure. Connect the ribbon connecter. Secure the grounding wire with the screw and washer. Insert the hinge tab into the front panel and connect the remaining wires to the appropriate terminals on the board. Insert the control panel tabs into the front panel slots and push the panel down. Replace the mounting screw to secure. Realign the grill and snap it into place then rethread the screws to secure. With the repair completed, plug the power cord back in and your microwave oven should be ready for use.
