When you still have doubts about the clicking sound coming out of the fridge, pay attention to the fact your fridge isn’t cooling. That is absolutely abnormal. One reason your refrigerator would click would be a compressor overload caused by a dirty condenser coil. The clicking sound is the compressor shutting itself down on the overload. The condenser coil is located near the compressor, either on the rear or bottom of the refrigerator. This is the tubing through which the refrigerant flows after compression to dissipate the heat and prepare for expansion and cooling. If the refrigerator is cooling poorly but still seems to retain some cold air, then this is likely the problem. If the above suggestions did not solve the problem, we recommend requesting a visit by a service engineer. Make a call to arrange an appointment with one of our professionals when it is convenient to you. We will be glad to identify the cause of the problem and eliminate the source of the breakdown.
