Homeowners prefer Wolf ovens for their high quality and reliability. In fact, these appliances are big as well as heavy so they can’t be transported easily. Thus we highly don’t recommend fixing them yourself. Redirect maintenance to professional assistants and have nothing to worry about. If you have a gas oven that's not heating up at all, it could just be a faulty igniter. To determine that it's not a more serious gas line problem, you can test one of the burners on the gas stovetop to see if it's receiving gas and igniting. When you set a temperature on a gas oven, you should hear a few faint clicks followed by the typical whoosh sound of the gas igniting. If you do not hear the gas ignite and the clicking stops, turn the oven off and consider replacing the igniter. This process varies by oven model, but it typically only requires disconnecting the range from power, removing a handful of screws, disconnecting a quick release wiring connection, connecting the new igniter and tightening everything back down. Although rare, it is possible that your supply of natural gas or liquid propane gas has been interrupted for some reason. This usually happens when the main gas valve has been shut off to make some repair or replacement in the system and hasn't been turned on again. Check the main gas valve, as well as any valves located on branch lines, to make sure they are in the ON position. If your oven has just been repaired or replaced, it's also possible that the gas valve on the supply pipe hasn't been turned back on. If the gas supply checks out to be fine, then turn to the gas igniter on the oven itself. Take care of your Wolf oven to make sure it runs at full capacity.
