We’ve received a complaint about the lack of ice and water in the dispenser.
First of all, it was checked whether water comes into the refrigerator, water has been present. The dispenser check has showed that it is functioning.
Then, the water filter was checked; according to the date it had been replaced a couple of weeks before.
The next step was the diagnosis of the filter housing, it had a defect in the mounting holes for the filter and needed replacement. After the new filter housing installation, water did not flow anyway.
The water valve was suspected, a test showed that one of the magnets in the valve was not
functioning, and it was decided to replace the water valve.
Being replaced, the dispenser started to supply water. The malfunction has been eliminated.
