Your Samsung microwave needs fast repairing if it works but doesn’t heat the food. Issues that concern temperature failure likely refer to the malfunctioning thermal fuse. The thermal fuse cuts off power to the microwave if the microwave overheats. To determine if the thermal fuse has blown, use a multimeter to test it for continuity. If the fuse doesn’t have continuity, replace it. The thermal fuse cannot be reset—if the fuse is blown, it must be replaced. (Caution: The microwave oven can store thousands of volts of electricity in its high voltage capacitor, even after the microwave oven has been unplugged. Due to the potential for electric shock, it is extremely dangerous to replace the electronic components in a microwave. Only a licensed technician should replace the thermal fuse.) If you have a direct intention and right skills to check the thermal fuse on your own, follow the instructions below. Unplug power and remove moving parts. Open the back cover. There are 2 screws on the right side and 1 screw on the left side. They can be easily removed with a normal screwdriver. But there are 4 screws on the back that are little special, a star screwdriver is needed. After opening the back cover, check the fuse first. You may do it with a resistor tester. If it shows the fuse resistance value is infinity that means the fuse is broken. You will only need to change a fuse for the microwave oven. But if it shows a resistance value on the meter, this means the fuse is not broken. You have to go to find a problem in some other parts.
